Kazuko Sawada is Head of Japan and the legal representative for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP Japan. She is
responsible for leading all business operations for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP in the Japan market. Before assuming
her current role in August 2025, Kazuko served as Chief Marketing Officer, leading Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP business
development and product development teams as they develop and provide various solutions
to support clients¡¯ challenges in the dynamic environment of the life insurance industry.
Kazuko has two decades of experience in the financial industry. Before joining Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP in June
2024, Kazuko worked for a decade with BNP Paribas, first as the head of fixed-income
structuring on the bank side and eventually as the head of insurance solution sales on the
securities side. In that role, Kazuko designed and executed sales strategies for a variety
of products, including asset liability management (ALM), asset-intensive, and market risk
products.
Prior to her time with BNP, Kazuko progressed her career with UBS Securities, where she
accumulated multi-asset expertise in product development and structured interest rates,
foreign exchange, credit, and quantitative investment strategies. In this role, Kazuko introduced
non-flow solutions to align with clients¡¯ goals.
Kazuko earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Tokyo.
