Jeffrey Schuh is Vice President and Lead Actuary with U.S. Group Reinsurance, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP. Jeff is the lead actuary for group living benefits reinsurance (disability and critical illness) and is responsible for the related pricing, product development, and value-added services. He is active in both the U.S. and Canadian group insurance markets and was previously the Chair of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP U.S. Group Reinsurance¡¯s Product Development Steering Committee.
Prior to joining the company, Jeff spent more than 10 years in direct insurance working on valuation and pricing for group STD, LTD, and voluntary/worksite products such as disability, cancer insurance and critical illness. Jeff joined the company in 2002.
Jeff¡¯s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in mathematics (with distinction) is from the University of Minnesota ¨C Twin Cities. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and an Associate of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA). He is also a frequent speaker at industry meetings.
